Patrick Zigon likes to collaborate with creative guys, which he has proven again and again on previous EPs and his 2011 album “The Alpha State.” This time he has teamed up with the talented Till Krger from Southern Germany for the second Biotop release. Till has gained a lot of attention with his timeless hi-class productions for Treibstoff, 200 Records and Bullet Dodge as well as remixes for Gabriel Ananada, Alle Farben & Patrick Zigon.
Till and Patrick had some inspiring days at the Traumraum Studio at Lake Constance. They combined their skills and produced a deep techy 3-tracker – melodic and emotional but with a huge dose of dub. Hypnotic pads and chords create dreamy sequences, while the bottom-end is filled up with pushing sub-basslines and warm kick-drums.
Each track stands by itself, but together they also provide a continuous atmosphere, the typical Biotop-mood.
The [BIOS 002]-packet is available as a free download on www.biotop-label.net. It contains 3 tracks as MP3 and WAV, with special artworks for each track and the remix files of “Rise Of The Droid.”
