This release by mystified explores a variety of ambient sounds, crossing boundaries of ambient, drone, noise, and dark ambient. "Urgent Cells" is a very polished release, carefully composed and mastered in extreme high fidelity. The songs are sometimes light, and often powerful. One, a 20-minute drone essay, is so dark it calls to mind the unnamed originator of dark ambient music himself.
